We lost you, but you have found the peace you were constantly searching for.

This is one of the most beautiful portraits I have ever had the privilege to see. You have captured your gran with such a peaceful serene gaze that is just so hard to do. You have a rare talent and this photograph captures that talent as it has captured your gran’s spirit.

    • this has brought the tears, in a good way. you have made my day, my week. Thank you.

I was worried I might cause upset but it reminded me of the last days of my grandfather and a photo that I took which was a one in a million of my grandparents holding hands. Do you have a contact email. Your portfolio is absolutely brilliant. I’ve only just discovered your page through the selvedge yard. In some ways depending on your subject matter your style has flavours of the great American photographer Dorothea Lange. I see bits of Rennie Ellis, Mark Strizic, Max Dupain, Robert Doisneau and even a bit of Cartier Bresson. Your monochrome candid photography especially is reminiscent of the last two.

        Cheers,

        Patrick

      • Hey, Patrick. Many apologies for the delayed response.
        My email is crcooper84@gmail.com

Mentioning my work in the same sentence as those photographers has blown me away. Thank you!
